My Flings start with my 3rd great grandmother Mary Fling, born in Ireland, immigrated to the USA, approx. 1837. born abt. 1825. varies on census. from 1825,1830 and 1835. She married Thomas Williams also born in Ireland, about 1830 - 1834 also immigrated to the USA. first found in the US Census and as married couple in Leavenworth Kansas 1860 Census with 3 children, James b.1855, Winifred b. 1857 Arthur 1858. 1865 Kansas state Census with James, Winifred, Arthur, Thomas b. 1860 and Michael b. 1865. Thomas Sr. disappears between the 1865 Census and the 1880 Census when the rest of the family shows up in Denver, Co. Their son Charles Arthur my great grandfathers census' had said his parents were from Ireland until 1930 that changed to Northern Ireland. I have not been able to locate their immigration information yet. So Many Thomas Williams and I have not been able to locate a death date for him, He is last seen in Leavenworth Kansas state Census of 1865, his wife and children move to Denver, they appear in the 1880 Census. Winifred married in Leavenworth, Ks to Charles Frederick White also appear in 1880 Denver, Arapahoe, Census. Mary shows as a widow living by herself. If I have the correct Mary Williams. I would love to find where the Williams and the Flings are from in Ireland and know what family I have there today.
